To recreate the puffin birthday card, you will need:
Pale Papaya card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” Polished Pink card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside Polished Pink card – 3⅞” by 2⅜” Basic White card – 3¾” by 2¼”
Using the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder, I embossed one of the larger Basic White panels. The panel was then glued to the larger Polished Pink panel.

I wrapped a length of Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon around the panel securing it on the back with Sellotape. The panel was then adhered to the Pale Papaya card front.

The cute puffin was stamped onto the smaller piece of Basic White in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The sentiment was added below in Polished Pink ink.

I used the Pale Papaya and Polished Pink Blends Pens to colour in the image. The coloured panel was then glued to the smaller Polished Pink layer and added to the card front on Dimensionals.

To recreate the juice anyone? Card, you will need:
Smoky Slate card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” Daffodil Delight card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” Abigail Rose dsp – 5½” by 3¾” Basic Gray card – 4” by 2¾” Basic White card – 4” by 2¾” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside Scrap Basic White card
I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to add the panel of Abigail Rose dsp to the Daffodil Delight layer. A length of White Baker’s Twine was wrapped around the panel before it was glued to the Smoky Slate card base.

Six glasses were stamped in Basic Gray ink onto scrap Basic White card. To create the fruit juice effect, I stamped the inner image in Tahitian Tide ink for blue raspberry, Parakeet Party for limeade, Daffodil Delight for lemonade, Sweet Sorbet for strawberry and Blackberry Bliss for blackcurrant.

Using clear packing tape, I covered all the stamped images before die cutting them out using the Brewed Dies. This made the glasses shiny……. so cute.

Using the Deckled Rectangle Dies, I die cut rectangles from the smallest Basic White panel and the Basic Gray panel. I added ‘ground’ using a Smoky Slate Blends Pen. The ‘bubble’ image was stamped along the top in Basic Gray ink. The two rectangles were then glued together.

The colourful glasses were added with liquid glue with the exception of the lemonade which was added on Dimensionals. The whole panel was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment from the Sweet Songbirds stamp set was stamped in Blackberry Bliss onto scrap Basic White card before being trimmed down and tucked under the raised panel. A trio of Basic Rhinestones and a Baker’s Twine bow completed the card.

Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Babies and Kids’. I have used the sweet Puffin Party stamp set and the new Design A Daydream to make a puffin birthday card.
To recreate the puffin birthday card, you will need:
Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Design a Daydream dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White card
I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the dsp panel to the larger Basic White layer. The panel was added to the Pool Party card front.

The puffin image was mounted on one of the Stamparatus Plates, inked with Memento Basic Black ink and stamped onto scrap Basic White card. I repeated this 3 times to get the depth of colour I wanted.

I have been playing again with the Kite Delight stamp set which is sadly retiring at the end of April and have made a pretty card featuring a trio of kites.
To recreate the trio of kites’ card, you will need:
Balmy Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner Cherry Cobbler card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper right corner Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside – rounded upper right corner Basic White card – 3¼” by 3¼” Scrap Basic White card
Using a Blending Brush, I added Balmy Blue ink to the square of Basic White card and die cut a Layering Circle from the inked area.

The inked circle was placed onto one of the Basic White panels and 2 kite strings stamped overlapping the circle in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. A third string was added lower down on the left. The circle was then adhered to the card front on Dimensionals. The whole panel was glued to the Cherry Cobbler panel and then to the Balmy Blue card front using liquid glue.

I tore a large Post It Note in half from top to bottom and adhered both sides, temporarily to the large panel of Basic White card leaving a gap between the pieces.

Using Blending Brushes, I added ink to the masked off area starting with Daffodil Delight at the bottom, then Flirty Flamingo in the middle and lastly Mango Melody.

The largest kite was stamped in Night of Navy ink and the string of bows added using the same ink.

The dots on the kite were coloured using Poppy Parade Blends Marker and the balloons coloured in using the Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight Blends Markers. The whole panel was then embossed using the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder. The strip of Poppy Parade card was added to the left-side of the embossed panel and the whole piece mounted on the Thick Basic White card base using Dimensionals.

I have been having a lot of fun with the Brave Vikings stamp set. It really reminds me of when my son was just starting school as he found it really difficult to sit still and concentrate, so if he had tried hard, he was allowed to go and read about something he loved – and he loved Vikings.

The sentiment from the Many Messages stamp set was stamped using Versamark ink onto a scrap of Basic Black card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it using my Heat Tool. It was added to the card front with liquid glue.

The sentiment was from the Nuts and Bolts stamp set but I only wanted the word ‘greeting’ so I covered the part of the sentiment I didn’t want with washi tape, inked it up with Versamark ink, removed the washi tape and stamped it onto scrap Basic Gray card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool before trimming it down with Scissors. It was added to the card front with liquid glue.
