Hello and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where our theme is Black & White. I love a bit of monochrome, don’t you? have chosen to make a monochromatic daisies card using the gorgeous Daisy Garden stamp.
To recreate the monochromatic daisies card, you will need:
Basic Black card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” Basic Black card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” Basic Black card – 5⅜” by 3⅜” Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” Basic White card – 3” by ½”
I mounted the large Daisy Garden stamp onto the plate of my Stamparatus. I find it easier to get a good image if I have the opportunity to re-stamp the image.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A beautiful black & white, monochromatic daisies card for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop
I inked the stamp up with Versamark ink, stamped it onto the smaller panel of Basic Black and covered it with White Embossing Powder. The powder was then heat set using my Heat Tool.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A beautiful black & white, monochromatic daisies card for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop
The panel was then cut into three strips, roughly equal in width. The strips were added to the Basic Black panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A beautiful black & white, monochromatic daisies card for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop
I wrapped a piece of White Baker’s Twine twice around the panel and tied it in a bow. The panel was then added to the basic Black card base using Black Dimensionals.

Hello and thank you for joining me for the Share It Sunday Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on. I am sharing the sweet box of pansies I have made for my Mum’s birthday tomorrow. I used a Youtube video by Sally Stampers as my inspiration
Early Espresso card – 7” by 3” – scored on the long side at 1” and 3” Early Espresso card – 7” by 4” – scored on the long side at 4” and 6” Early Espresso card – 5” by ½” x 2 – scored at either end at ½” Basic White 3 ½” by 3 ½” Evening Evergreen card – ⅛” by 3” strips – about 10 In Good Taste dsp – 4” by 2” In Good Taste dsp – 2” by 2” In Good Taste dsp – 4” by 4” Pansy Petals dsp – the sheet of leaves Scrap Basic White
Placing the short end of the larger piece of Early Espresso card at the top of the Trimmer, score lines nearest the top. I cut at 2” down to the 2nd score line. This will leave a 4” by 4” piece which will be the back panel of the box and a side piece measuring 3” with a score line in the middle.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A box of Pansies for Mum’s birthday made for the Share It Sunday Blog Hop
Fold and burnish the score lines on both the large Early Espresso panels. Adhere the panels together using the 1” tabs using a strong glue, I used Tear and Tape. This forms the box.
Fold and burnish the ½” tabs on the tin strip of Early Espresso card and attach these inside the box. I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to do this so that I could manoeuvre them into position.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A box of Pansies for Mum’s birthday made for the Share It Sunday Blog Hop
I added the In Good Taste dsp to the front and side of the box.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A box of Pansies for Mum’s birthday made for the Share It Sunday Blog Hop
I stamped a section of pansies, 3 large and 14 small onto scrap Basic White card. The colour combinations I used were.
1st generation Polished Pink outline, 2nd generation Polished Pink solid image and Merry Merlot for the bearded part. 1st generation Fresh Freesia outline, 2nd generation Fresh Freesia solid image and Gorgeous Grape for the bearded part.
1st generation Bermuda Bay outline, 2nd generation Bermuda Bay solid image and Misty Moonlight for the bearded part.
The centres were stamped in Bumblebee ink. The flowers were then die cut using the Pansy Dies. The leaves were die cut from the Pansy Petals dsp.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A box of Pansies for Mum’s birthday made for the Share It Sunday Blog Hop
Using liquid glue, I added the 3 large pansies to the back panel of the box making sure not to place them to high as I wanted the card to fit into a standard C6 envelope. I added some of the smaller flowers to the front panel using the same glue.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A box of Pansies for Mum’s birthday made for the Share It Sunday Blog Hop
I added the ⅛” strips of Evening Evergreen card to the other small pansies and added them at different heights to the inside panels, snipping off the excess. I added the leaves with a dot of liquid glue. Taking care that the card when folded down will still fit within the envelope.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A box of Pansies for Mum’s birthday made for the Share It Sunday Blog Hop
The sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set was stamped in Polished Pink ink onto scrap Basic White card and die cut using the Floral Gallery dies and added to the front of the box with liquid glue.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A box of Pansies for Mum’s birthday made for the Share It Sunday Blog Hop
I stamped a pink pansy onto the square panel of Basic White card and added it to the back of the back panel which will give us a place to write.
I added a trio of 2021-2023 In Color Jewels to finish the card.

It is time again for our monthly Ink & Inspirations blog hop and our theme this month is ‘Sweet Suite’. So many lovely suites to chose from…….…. such a hard decision. Eventually I settled on the Hand-penned Suite and made a simple blended hand-penned birthday card.
To recreate the Blended Hand-Penned birthday card, you will need:
Mint Macaron card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper left corner Highland Heather – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – Rounded upper left corner Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – Rounded upper left corner Hand-Penned dsp – 4 ½” by 2” Scrap Basic White
I used Highland Heather ink to stamp the sentiment onto one of the panels of Basic White card.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A blended Hand-penned birthday card made for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive I added the stamped piece to the Highland Heather layer and using the same glue mounted the panel to the Mint Macaron card base.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A blended Hand-penned birthday card made for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
I accidently used a retired tag topper punch to shape the top of the gorgeous piece of Hand-penned dsp – a senior moment I fear …….. you could use either the Fancy Tag Topper Punch or the Delightful Tag Topper Punch.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A blended Hand-penned birthday card made for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
I added a piece of the Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon to the top of the tag and added it, at an angle to the card front.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A blended Hand-penned birthday card made for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I stamped the lovely floral spray onto scrap Basic White card and coloured it in using the Mint Macaron, Highland Heather and Flirty Flamingo Blends Markers.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A blended Hand-penned birthday card made for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
The coloured piece was added on Dimensionals to the card front. To finish the card, I added a trio of Genial Gems.

Hello and welcome to the Colour Combo blog hop and this month we have been given colours that I would never have put together. I have used the gorgeous Hydrangea Haven stamp set to make my coloured Hydrangea card.
To recreate the coloured hydrangea card, you will need:
Magenta Madness – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper right corner Shaded Spruce – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – Rounded upper right corner Basic White – 5” by 3¼” – Rounded upper right corner Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper right corner Flirty Flamingo – 4⅛” by ½”
I mounted the stamp onto the plate of the Stamparatus and placed the smaller Basic White panel on the platform.
www.crafty-rootes.com -I have made a coloured hydrangea card for the Colour Combo Blog Hop using the Hydrangea Haven stamp set
Using the Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Write Marker I inked up the stem and leaves of the flower. I stamped it down onto the Basic White panel. I repeated this step to get a darker impression.
www.crafty-rootes.com -I have made a coloured hydrangea card for the Colour Combo Blog Hop using the Hydrangea Haven stamp set
I used the Magenta Madness Stampin’ Write Marker to ink up the flower head and again repeated the process to get a good impression. The infill stamp was inked up in Flirty Flamingo ink, I stamped it off onto scrap paper before stamping the colour over the flower head. I used the same 2nd generation Shaded Spruce ink to the leaves and stem using the infill stamp.
www.crafty-rootes.com -I have made a coloured hydrangea card for the Colour Combo Blog Hop using the Hydrangea Haven stamp set
The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped in Magenta Madness ink. The stamped layer was then glued to the Shaded Spruce panel.

I cut one of these pieces in half again and mounted both strips onto one of the larger Basic White panels with the liquid glue. I wrapped a length of Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon around the panel before adhering it to the Daffodil Delight card base. Using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies I cut 2 labels, one from the small piece of Basic White and the other from the larger piece of Soft Succulent. The sentiment was stamped on the smaller label in Soft Succulent ink, the panels were the glued together and mounted on the card front on Dimensionals. I added a bow on a Mini Glue Dot.

Hello and welcome to the Kylie Bertucci Demonstrator Training Blog Hop where we are sharing the thank you cards made for our customers. You are currently with Mo Rootes from near Cambridge in the UK. This month I have made a thank you cookies card using the lovely Nothing’s Better Than stamp set. Who can resist a cookie?
To recreate the Thank you Cookies card, you will need:
Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner Early Espresso – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper right corner Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – rounded upper right corner Basic White – 3” by 1¾”
Taking one of the larger panels of Basic White I drew around the inside of one of the Tasteful Label Dies in the centre of the panel. This gave me a frame around which I could stamp the image.
www.crafty-rootes.com -A simple thank you card made using the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set for the Kylie Bertucci Demo Blog Hop
I stamped the image of the cookie onto 2 Post It Notes and cut them out using sharp scissors. I used these as masks when stamping the images.

Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where the theme is ‘simple stamping’. If you have hooped on from the lovely Gez Carpenter I am sure you loved her project. I usually find simple stamping a bit of a challenge, can’t resist using lots of layers and bling. I made s simply hand-penned card using the lovely new Hand-penned Petals stamp set and it was so easy to create a sweet but simple card with this set.
To recreate the simply hand-penned card, you will need:
Soft Succulent card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” Basic White – 5⅝” by 3⅞” Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” x 2
I stamped the sweet image in Evening Evergreen ink onto one of the smaller Basic White panels.

Hello and welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop where we are sharing a colouring technique. I have made a lovely Colorful Meadow card using the Meadow Dies. You are currently with Mo Rootes from near Cambridge in the UK.
To recreate the colourful meadow card, you will need:
Smoky Slate card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4 ⅛” – Rounded upper left corner Poppy Parade – 5” by 3 ¼” – Rounded upper left corner Basic White – 4⅞” by 3⅛” – Rounded upper left corner Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper left corner Scrap Basic White
Taking the smaller Basic White panel and the spotty stamp from the Quiet Meadow stamp set I randomly stamped in Smoky Slate ink. I die cut a number of the Meadow Dies from scrap Basic White.
www.crafty-rootes.com -The stunning Meadow Dies used with Sponge Daubers to make a pretty thank you card
Using Sponge Daubers, I added colour to each flower. I used Old Olive and Just Jade inks for the stems and leaves. The larger flower was coloured using Poppy Parade and Cherry Cobbler and the smaller flower coloured with Bumblebee and Poppy Parade. I dabbed the colour on and carefully and lightly sponged it over the die cut taking care not to bend or tear the fragile die cut pieces.
www.crafty-rootes.com -The stunning Meadow Dies used with Sponge Daubers to make a pretty thank you card
The flowers were added to the stamped background using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive which I applied using my Silicon Mat and a piece of Sponge.
www.crafty-rootes.com -The stunning Meadow Dies used with Sponge Daubers to make a pretty thank you card
The stamped layer was added to the Poppy Parade layer with the same liquid glue. I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around the layers tying it in a bow. The panel was then mounted onto the Smoky Slate card base on Dimensionals.
www.crafty-rootes.com -The stunning Meadow Dies used with Sponge Daubers to make a pretty thank you card
I stamped a sentiment from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set in Poppy Parade ink onto scarp Basic White card. I die cut it using the sweet little label from the Meadow Dies and added it to the card front.

Hello and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where our theme is Annual Catalogue pre-order. I have chosen to use the gorgeous Meadow Dies to make a pretty silhouetted meadow birthday card.
To recreate the Silhouetted Meadow card, you will need:
Polished Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4 – Rounded upper left corner Basic Black – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – Rounded upper left corner Basic White – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – Rounded upper left corner x 2 – one for the inside Scrap Basic Black
I took one of the Basic White panels and added ink using a Blending Brushes. I began in the centre with Pale Papaya ink. I start by inking up the brush, then tapping off the excess before adding the ink to the panel in circular movements.

Next, I added Polished Pink end finishing with Misty Moonlight ink. I love the effect this gives, so vibrant. The inked panel was then added to the Basic Black layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

Using the stunning Meadow Dies and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine I cut out a selection of the flower shapes from scrap Basic Black card.

I squeezed a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive onto my Silicon Mat and used a piece of Sponge to add the glue all over the back of the die cuts. They were then added to the inked panel. The panel was mounted on the Polished Pink card base with liquid glue.

The sentiment from the Hey Birthday Chick was stamped on a scrap of Basic Black card in Versamark ink. I covered it in White Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool. It was trimmed out using Scissors.

I added a strip of Seal + to the back of the sentiment and adhered a strip of Glittered Organdy Ribbon. The sentiment was then added to the card front on Dimensionals. I added a trio of the new 2021-2023 In Color Jewels to complete the card.
I hope you like it.
Please hop on to see what the lovely Deb Naylor has to share with us today.
