Thank you for joining me for the Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Thanks’. I have made a simple card using the stunning Rose Gold Glimmer paper teamed with Basic Black card stock.
To recreate the rose gold glimmer card, you will need:
Basic Black card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” Basic Black card – 4⅛” by 4⅛” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside Rose Gold Glimmer – ¼” strip Scrap Rose Gold Glimmer
Using the Penned Flower Dies and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, I die cut 4 of the gorgeous detailed flower groups.

Hello and thank you for joining me for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where we have been asked to CASE each other. CASEing means copy and share everything or copy and selectively edit and I have chosen the second version.
After a lot of research and fun looking at the blogs of my fellow demos I have chosen to CASE this card designed by Annette Elias
Annette Elias card featuring a Bear
I love her style, so different from mine. I tend to go for clean and simple where Annette loves to layer and embellish. I just wish I had her talent.
Here is my simplified version of her beautiful card using 2 of my favourite bundles.
Thick Basic White card base – 11¾” by 4⅛” scored at 5⅞” Shaded Spruce card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” Soft Suede card – 3½” by 2” Scrap Shaded Spruce card
Using Misty Moonlight ink, I inked up the detailed mountain image and stamped it onto the panel of Basic White card. I cleaned the stamped, reversed it on my block, inked it up again and stamped it off onto scrap paper before stamping it slightly higher and off set to give the mountains some depth.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A bear CASEd card made for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop using the Arctic Bears & Mountain Air stamp sets
I stamped the row of trees at the base of the mountains in Shaded Spruce ink.
The row of trees image was then inked in Pool Party ink, turned upside down and stamped again three times without re-inking to give the illusion of water.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A bear CASEd card made for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop using the Arctic Bears & Mountain Air stamp sets
I added a ½” punched circle to the skyline, to mask off a moon. Using a Blending Brush, I added Balmy Blue ink to make the sky. The birds were added with Misty Moonlight ink. The stamped panel was added to the Shaded Spruce layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and then mounted on the card front using the same glue.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A bear CASEd card made for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop using the Arctic Bears & Mountain Air stamp sets
A tree was die cut from the scrap Shaded Spruce card using my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Majestic Mountains Dies. I added it to the card front with the liquid glue.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A bear CASEd card made for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop using the Arctic Bears & Mountain Air stamp sets
The bear was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto the panel of Soft Suede and trimmed out with using scissors. I could have cut it out with the co-ordinating dies but wanted it cut tighter to the stamped edge. The bear was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A bear CASEd card made for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop using the Arctic Bears & Mountain Air stamp sets
I love this card almost as much as I loved Annette’s original.

Hello and welcome to the Stampin’ Dreams – In Memorium Blog Hop where we are sharing Sympathy cards. Coming up to Remembrance Sunday the Painted Poppies stamp set seemed the most appropriate stamp set to use to make my Poppies In Memorium card today.
To recreate the Poppies In Memorium card, you will need:
Basic Black card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner Poppy Parade card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper left corner Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – rounded upper left corner for the inside
I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on the lower right corner of the smaller panel of Basic White card. I actually masked off part of the sentiment with Post It Notes before inking up and stamping.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A lovely poppy themed In Memorium, thinking of you card for the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop
Using the same black ink, I stamped the group of poppies three times across the panel.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A lovely poppy themed In Memorium, thinking of you card for the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop
The flowers were then coloured in using the Poppy Parade Blends Combo Markers.
I added a strip of the gorgeous Glittered Organdy Ribbon to the card and secured it on the back of the panel with Sellotape. The whole panel was then added using Multipurpose Adhesive to the Poppy Parade panel.

www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty Paper Pierced Bauble Christmas card, made using the Delicate Bauble Dies for the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop
Using the detailed bauble die, I cut the bauble from the 4⅛” by 3” panels of Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy and Fresh Freesia card taking care to keep all the pieces together.
Taking the outline of the bauble, I used liquid adhesive to glue a scrap piece of Basic White card to the back.

Hello and welcome to the Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop where we are showcasing tools. I have chosen to use the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks to make a pretty embossed and inked Christmas card.
To recreate the Adorning Christmas card, you will need:
Highland Heather card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” Coastal Cabana card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” Basic White card – 6” by 6” which I later cut down to 5½” by 3¾” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside Basic White card – 3” by 2”
I often forget about our masks but when I remember to use them, I love them. They are so versatile -did you know you can dry emboss using masks? This is only one of the cool techniques you can use masks for.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty Adorning Snowflake Christmas card made using the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
I chose the snowflake mask for my project today and if we are talking about tools, as well as the Masks I am using our great Blending Brushes
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty Adorning Snowflake Christmas card made using the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
Firstly, I chose the snowflake mask from the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks set. I knew I wanted to emboss my cardstock using the mask but wasn’t quite sure how to do it. After a bit of trial and error I found that the best combination was:
Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine Base plate (1) Clear acrylic plate (3) Silicon Mat Basic White card Mask Gray 3D Embossing Plate (4)
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty Adorning Snowflake Christmas card made using the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
I kept the mask in place on top of the card stock, taped the mask down to some Grid Paper to hold it still and began to add colour using Blending Brushes.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty Adorning Snowflake Christmas card made using the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
Beginning at the bottom I applied Pool Party ink – I think my Blending Brush wasn’t clean as it looks like Granny Apple Green!
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty Adorning Snowflake Christmas card made using the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
Next, I added Coastal Cabana ink, followed by Fresh Freesia ink and finally Highland Heather ink. I removed the mask and cut the panel down to 5½” by 3¾” using my Paper Trimmer.
Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the embossed panel to the Coastal Cabana card layer.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty Adorning Snowflake Christmas card made using the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
I wrapped a length of Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon around the panel, securing it on the back with Sellotape and added the whole panel to the Highland Heather card base on Dimensionals.
The sentiment, from the Christmas to Remember stamp set was stamped on the small piece of Basic White card in Highland Heather ink. I used the Seasonal Labels dies to cut the sentiment out.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty Adorning Snowflake Christmas card made using the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
I added the label to the card front, over the ribbon and secured it down with Mini Glue Dots.
To complete the card, I added a bow made from the same ribbon and a trio of Pastel Pearls.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty Adorning Snowflake Christmas card made using the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
I made a second card in the same way but this time when the mask was removed, I added the left-over colour on the Blending Brushes to the background.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A pretty Adorning Snowflake Christmas card made using the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop
This panel was added to a Gorgeous Grape panel and then to a Thick Basic White card base.
Isn’t this a cool effect? Let me know which version you prefer.
Please continue on to see what other inspiration my fellow hoppers have to share today.
