Merry Eden for the Crafty Collaborations Eden’s Garden Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Eden’s Garden Blog Hop where we are showcasing projects made using the Eden’s Garden stamp set. Mine is a Merry Eden, sending hugs card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the merry Eden card, you will need:

Merry Merlot card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Just Jade card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Merry Merlot card – 3” by 3“
Basic White card – 3” by 3“

I die cut the circle from the square of Basic White card, placed it on the smaller Basic White panel allowing it to hang off on the right and drew around it lightly with a pencil.

The largest image was inked up with Merry Merlot ink and stamped twice overlapping the pencil drawn circle. The leafy sprays were added with Juts Jade and Mossy Meadow ink. The panel was then glued to the Just Jade panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

A length of the gorgeous Metallic Ribbon was wrapped around the panel and secured on the back with Sellotape.

The sentiment was stamped in Merry Merlot ink and leafy sprigs added around the edges. I glued the sentiment to the slightly larger Merry Merlot scalloped circle and used a trimmer to remove a piece from the right-hand side. The trimmed down circle was then added to the stamped panel with Dimensionals.

Eden Thank you card for the Colour Combo Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Colour Combo Blog Hop where we are using the colours Pool Party, Just Jade & Granny Apple Green. I have used these colours to make an Eden thank you card.

To recreate the Eden thank you card, you will need:

Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner for the inside

Next, I stamped the largest leafy bough in Pool Party ink, above and below the masked lines, the stems would eventually be hidden by the sentiment.

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on. I have chosen to share some Jolly Snowflakes cards using a modified version of a one sheet wonder,

Poinsettia Bauble for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Tree Decorations’ – such a fun challenge. I have used the gorgeous Poinsettia Dies to make a hanging bauble for my tree.

Colours used in the Poinsettia Bauble are:

To recreate this project, you will need:

4” wooden circle
Real Red card – 8¼” by 3¼”
Garden Green card – 4½” by 2”
Scrap Gold Foil

Using a Big Bite hole puncher, I punched hole at the top of the 4” wooden circle. I used the Birch background stamp and Early Espresso ink and stamped it onto the circle and set it aside to dry. I mounted the stamp on a Stamparatus Plate as I find this easier to manage.

The Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop using a scrap piece of inked Vellum die cut into a trio of butterflies

Trio of Butterflies for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we are using something from our stash in a project today. I have a piece of inked vellum on my craft desk, left over from September’s classes – see the post on the 17th September 2021, and have used it to make a card featuring a trio of butterflies.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the double butterfly card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Magenta Madness card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – rounded upper left corner – for the inside
Vellum – big enough to die cut your butterflies

I used Magenta Madness, Dark Pumpkin Pie and Dark Daffodil Delight Blends Alcohol Markers to scribble blocks of colour all over the Vellum taking care not to overlap the colours which would contaminate the lighter colour nibs.

The Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop using a scrap piece of inked Vellum die cut into a trio of butterflies

www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A beautiful card featuring a trio of butterflies made from inked vellum for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Using a pipette filled with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and smacked it against a Bone Folder to spray small dots of alcohol all over the Vellum. This allows the ink to start spreading, such a cool effect. The Vellum piece was then set aside to dry.

The Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop using a scrap piece of inked Vellum die cut into a trio of butterflies

www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A beautiful card featuring a trio of butterflies made from inked vellum for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Using second generation Pale Papaya ink I stamped the larger circle image from the Watercolor Shapes stamp set in the centre of the smaller Basic White panel. The dotty image was stamped in full strength Pale Papaya randomly across the stamped circle.

The Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop using a scrap piece of inked Vellum die cut into a trio of butterflies

www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A beautiful card featuring a trio of butterflies made from inked vellum for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Taking the dry vellum panel and the Brilliant Wings Dies I die cut 3 of the small butterflies. Vellum can be tricky to die cut with a detailed die and I find placing the die, cutting side up gives me the best cut. I used the Take Your Pick Die Brush to get out the fiddly pieces.

The sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set was stamped in Magenta Madness ink. The stamped panel was then glued to the Magenta Madness layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and added to the Thick Basic White card front using the same liquid glue.

Scattered Leaves for the Kylie Bertucci Demo Blog Hop

Thank you for joining me for the Kylie Bertucci demonstrator training blog hop where we are sharing customer thank you cards. I have made a scattered leaves thank you card using the Christmas Season stamp set and Autumnal colours.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Scattered Leaves thank you card, you will need:

Petal Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Evening Evergreen card – 5” by 3” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 4⅞” by 2⅞” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

Using the ‘dotty’ stamp from the Christmas Season stamp set I stamped in 2nd generation Petal Pink ink around the edges of the Petal Pink card base to provide a subtle bit of texture.
