Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using a colour and or picture challenge. I have used the new Share a Milkshake stamp set which will be available from the 5th January in my online shop.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the share a milkshake card, you will need:
Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Dandy Designs dsp – 5⅞” by 2¼”
Soft Suede card – 3⅝” by 2⅝”
Very Vanilla card – 3½” by 2½”
Very Vanilla card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Very Vanilla
Using the larger ice cream top image, I stamped randomly over the right-hand side of the Crumb Cake card base using 2nd generation Crumb Cake ink – i.e. I inked up the image, stamped onto scrap paper before stamping onto my card base.
I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the panel of dsp to the left-hand side of the card front.
The base image of the sundae glass was stamped in Crumb Cake ink onto scrap Very Vanilla card. The more detailed image was then stamped over the top in Soft Suede ink. I used the Share a Milkshake Dies to cut out the glass.
I stamped the ice cream top onto scrap Very Vanilla card with Mango Melody ink. The straw was stamped in Gray Granite ink onto the same scrap card and both images were die cut using the same set of dies. I used liquid glue to adhere the die cut images together and then to add them to the smaller Very Vanilla panel. The whole piece was mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment from the On the Ocean stamp set was stamped in Gray Granite ink onto scrap Very Vanilla, trimmed down and added to the card front.
A Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine bow and a trio of Adhesive Milky Dots completed the card.
Please hop on to share the projects created by my talented friends.
