CASE’d Friendly Seagull card

Today, I have chosen to CASE a card made by the lovely Karen Titus using the new Friendly Seagulls stamp set which is one of the free choices which will be available from the 7th January 2025 with a qualifying order. I have taken Karen’s card and added my own spin. I hope you like it.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the CASE’d friendly seagull card, you will need:

Lemon Lolly card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pebbled Path card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Country Woods dsp – 2” by ⅝”
Country Woods dsp – 1⅞” by ⅜”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

Using large PostIt Notes, I masked the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card, ½” down the left side and ½” from the bottom.

I added Melon Mambo ink to the lower left corner of the masked area using a Blending Brush. Next, I added Lemon Lolly ink around the Melon Mambo giving a lovely peachy colour where the colours met.

The PostIt Notes were then removed, and the panel was glued to the Pebbled Path layer and then to the Lemon Lolly card front.

The Small piece of Country Woods dsp was adhered to the right side of the larger piece of dsp. This piece was then added to the inked panel on Dimensionals.

The seagull was stamped on scrap Basic White card with Pebbled Path ink and fussy cut out using sharp Scissors. I added colour using the dark Lemon Lolly and the light and dark Smoky Slate Blends Pens. The seagull was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
