Hello and welcome to the Stamping With friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using some of the product retiring from the September to December Mini Catalogue. Now, I love a leaf set and will be very sad to see the Caring Leaves stamp set retire at the end of the month and have chosen to use it to make my card.
Colours used in this card are:
To recreate the blue-green leaves card, you will need:
Lost lagoon card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Winter Meadow dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 7½” by 1¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card
The panel of dsp was adhered to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” layer of Basic White card. A length of Lost Lagoon cord was wrapped around the panel before it was glued to the Lost Lagoon card front.
From the long strip of Basic White card, I die cut 3 rectangles using the Nested Essentials Dies.
I stamped the outline of the leaf on each die cut rectangle in Pebbled Path ink.
I used the solid leaf image to colour each leaf using Pretty Peacock, Coastal cabana and Lost lagoon ink. The rectangles were the added to the card front, straddling the cord on Dimensionals.
The sentiment, from the Darling Dinos stamp set was stamped on scrap Basic White card in Pretty Peacock ink. I trimmed it down with Scissors and added it to the card front.
A cord bow and a trio of Glossy Dots completed the card.
Please hop on to see what my fellow demos are going to miss.
