Birthday Presents card – Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop. This month we have a colour challenge to work with and I have chosen to make my birthday presents card using the Reindeer Fun Dies.

 

Colours in this card are:

 

To recreate the birthday presents card, you will need:

Petal Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5” by 3”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 2¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Petal Pink, Poppy Parade, Balmy Blue, Gorgeous Grape and Gold Foil

 

Using Petal Pink ink, I stamped the sentiment, randomly all over the Petal Pink card front.

 

From scraps of Petal Pink, Poppy Parade, Balmy Blue, Gorgeous Grape and Gold Foil I die cut a selection of presents and ribbon bows from each of the colours.

 

I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the ribbon pieces to the presents.

 

Using the Nested Essentials Dies I cut labels from the 4¾” by 2¾” piece of Basic White card and the Basic Black card. The Basic White label was glued to the Basic Black label.

 

Using liquid glue and Dimensionals I added the ‘presents’ to the die cut labels. The whole piece was then added to the card front.

 

A trio of Glossy Dots finished the card.
