Baby Turtle card

Today I am sharing baby turtle card which would make a great masculine birthday card. I used the Sea Turtles stamp set to make my card.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the baby turtle card, you will need:

Night of Navy card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Lemon Lime Twist card – 4⅞” by 3⅛”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”- for the inside
Scrap Basic White, Basic Beige and Night of Navy

From scrap Basic White card, I die cut a circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I then used the negative circle as a mask.

I placed the mask onto the 4¾” by 3” piece of Basic White card, towards the top and roughly central. I then inked the negative circle using a Blending Brush and Boho Blue ink.

Keeping the mask in place, I stamped the bubble image in 2nd generation Boho Blue ink and added the shoal of fish with Lemon Lime Twist ink. The mask was then removed, and the inked panel glued to the Lemon Lime Twist layer and then to the Night of Navy card front.

The sweet baby turtle was stamped in Night of Navy ink onto scarp Basic Beige card. It was cut out using sharp scissors. I shaped the turtle with a Bone Folder and added it to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Attention Shoppers was stamped in Versamark ink onto scrap Night of Navy card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I trimmed the sentiment out and flagged one end before adding it to the card front.
