I stamped the sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink at the bottom of the panel and wrapped some Linen Thread around the stamped panel before adhering the panel to the Pool Party panel. The piece was mounted on the Crumb Cake card front with Dimensionals.

Simple Blessings for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we have a colour challenge inspired by this picture. I have used the inspiration to make a simple blessings card.

The colours in this project are:

To recreate the simple blessings card, you will need:

Highland Heather card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Evening Evergreen card – 5¼” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – for the inside
Basic White strip
Scrap Basic White card

Using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder I embossed the smaller panel of Basic White card.

The embossed panel was added to the Evening Evergreen layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I wrapped a length of Glittered Organdy Ribbon around the panel before adding it to the Highland Heather card front using the same glue.

I stamped the large floral image in Merry Merlot ink onto a scrap piece of Basic White card.

The image was coloured using the following Blends Markers – Evening Evergreen, Magenta Madness, Polished Pink & Highland Heather.
