Expressions of Friendship used for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are using the retiring in colours to make a project and I have used the sweet Expressions of Friendship stamp set to make my card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Expressions of Friendship card, you will need:

Just Jade card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛”
Misty Moonlight card – 3⅞” by 3¼”

Perfectly Planted for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Fun-Fold. I have used the Plentiful Plants stamp set and Perfect Plants Dies to make a card inspired by one I saw on Youtube made by Cindy Lee Brumbaugh

www.crafty-rootes.com – Perfectly Planted Centre Column Pop Up Card made for the Ink. Stamp, Share Blog Hop using the Plentiful Plants stamp set

I chose 2 nesting Rectangle Stitched Dies and used the larger of these dies to cut a rectangle from the centre of the large scored panel of Cinnamon Cider card. The ladybird was then added to the stamped panel on Dimensionals. The whole panel was then mounted onto the Gorgeous Grape card front using Dimensionals.

A scattering of Red Rhinestones finished the card.

This is such a bright and vibrant card. I hope you like it

A little boys birthday card made using the Brave Vikings stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Brave Vikings card

I have been having a lot of fun with the Brave Vikings stamp set. It really reminds me of when my son was just starting school as he found it really difficult to sit still and concentrate, so if he had tried hard, he was allowed to go and read about something he loved – and he loved Vikings.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Vikings card, you will need:

So Saffron card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Soft Suede card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card strip ¼”

I stamped the Viking warrior in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the smaller panel of Basic White card.
