To recreate the Halloween wreath card, you will need:
Cajun Craze card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” Pumpkin Pie card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
The leafy wreath was stamped in Pumpkin Pie ink onto the smaller panel of Basic White card.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Cottage Wreaths stamp set used to make a Halloween Wreath card for the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop
I inked up the same image with Cajun Craze ink, rotated the stamp 45°and stamped over the top of the Pumpkin Pie image.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Cottage Wreaths stamp set used to make a Halloween Wreath card for the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop
The twiggy image was then stamped over both previous layers in Early Espresso ink.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Cottage Wreaths stamp set used to make a Halloween Wreath card for the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop
The spider was stamped in Early Espresso ink below the wreath. I drew in the connecting thread using a ruler and the Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker.

Using all three colours I stamped the word ‘BOO’ inside the wreath. A trio of Champagne Rhinestones completed the card.

Hello and welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop where we are showcasing One Sheet Wonders. I have used the Friends are like Seashells stamp set for my cards.
To recreate the seashells one sheet wonder cards, you will need:
Basic White card – 11¾” by 4⅛” Co-ordinating card bases x 4 – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” Co-ordinating layers cut to 5⅝” by 3⅞” or 5½” by 3¾” or 5⅜” by 3⅝” Scrap Basic White & Basic Gray
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Friends are like Seashells stamp set used to showcase a one sheet wonder for the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop
I began by stamping the largest image in Gray Granite ink and added the second largest in Smoky Slate ink.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Friends are like Seashells stamp set used to showcase a one sheet wonder for the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop
Smaller shells stamped in Balmy Blue ink and the little starfishes were added in Sahara Sand ink.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Friends are like Seashells stamp set used to showcase a one sheet wonder for the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop
I added the sea weed in Crumb Cake ink and then filled in the blank spaces using the spotty stamp and Basic Gray ink.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Friends are like Seashells stamp set used to showcase a one sheet wonder for the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop
The completed sheet was then cut into 4 panels, each measuring 5⅞” by 4⅛”. I looked at each panel in turn, deciding whether they would be made into portrait or landscape cards.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Friends are like Seashells stamp set used to showcase a one sheet wonder for the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop
Each panel was then cut down to either 5½” by 3¾” or 5¼” by 3½” and glued to the co-ordinating panels using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I stamped a sentiment on some of the panels in Basic Gray ink and for others I stamped a sentiment in Versamark ink onto scrap Basic Gray card, covered it in White Embossing Powder before heat setting with my Heat Tool. These were then added to the panels.

I love combining elements from different stamp sets to create something new and different and have created a basket of blooms using the Cheerful Basket stamp set and Wisteria Wishes stamp set.
To recreate the basket of blooms stamp set, you will need:
Pale Papaya card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” Sweet Sorbet card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside Scrap Basic White& Old Olive card
I saw a Youtube video a while ago showing how to colour using ordinary colouring pencils with Vaseline which helps them to blend. I wondered if it would work with our Watercolor pencils and thought I would give it a go.
The basket from the Cheerful Basket stamp set was stamped in Sahara Sand ink and used the Early Espresso and Cajun Craze watercolor pencils to add colour to the basket. I dipped the tip of the pencil into a small pot of Vaseline before applying the colour, dipping again as needed. The colour went on really smoothly and I was able to get a really rich colour by building up the layers. The basket was die cut using the Full Basket dies.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Wisteria Wishes and the Cheerful Basket stamp sets used to make a pretty basket of blooms card
The stems and leaves were stamped on the smaller panel of Basic White card in Old Olive ink and the die cut basket added with .Multicoloured Liquid Adhesive. The panel was then glued to the Sweet Sorbet layer.
I wrapped a length of Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon around the panel, securing it on the back with Sellotape. The whole panel was then adhered to the Pale Papaya card base.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Wisteria Wishes and the Cheerful Basket stamp sets used to make a pretty basket of blooms card
The flower spikes from the Wisteria Wishes stamp set were inked with Pale Papaya ink and I added Sweet Sorbet ink to the tops with a Stampin’ Write Marker. The flowers were then stamped onto scrap Basic White card and die cut using the Wisteria Dies. They were added to the card front on Dimensionals.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Wisteria Wishes and the Cheerful Basket stamp sets used to make a pretty basket of blooms card
The sentiment, from the Charming Sentiments was stamped in Old Olive ink onto scrap Basic White card and die cut with one of Stylish Shapes Dies. A slightly larger scalloped circle was adhered to the reverse and the sentiment was then added to the card front.

Such a pretty card. I really enjoyed colouring with Vaseline and will definitely try it again.
