I used the following Blends Pens to colour in the image – Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Soft Sea Foam. The decorated piece was then adhered to the Crumb Cake Diorama piece.

A piece of Pool Party Sheer Ribbon was wrapped around the panel of Dandy Designs dsp and the panel was then glued to the Bermuda Bay layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

A couple of days ago I ran my first Stamp-a-Stack of the year with all the cards designed around the Rain or Shine designer Series Paper (dsp). This is such pretty paper and I love the Loose Daisy Embellishments which pair with it so beautifully.

To recreate the striped sympathy card, you will need:
Mint Macaron card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Basic White card – 5⅞” by 3” Night of Navy card – 6” by 1½” Night of Navy – 6” by ½” Basic White card – 2½” by 2½” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – For the inside By the Bay dsp strips a minimum of 4½” long and of varying widths
I applied strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive to all 4 sides of the 5⅞” by 3” piece of Basic White card. The backing from the adhesive tape was removed and I began laying the strips of By the Bay dsp from top to bottom, making sure to over lap the top and the bottom. I continued with this until the panel was completely covered.

The excess dsp was then trimmed off using sharp scissors. A length of White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon was wrapped around the panel and secured on the back with Sellotape.

The ½” strip of Night of Navy card was glued to the top of the striped panel. I ran the 1½” strip of Night of Navy through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with one of the Basic Borders Dies and adhered the resulting decorative edge to the bottom of the striped panel. The whole piece was then added to the Mint Macaron card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment, from the Something Fancy stamp set in Night of Navy onto the square of Basic White card and die cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. It was added to the card front on Dimensionals. I love the pretty font of this stamp set.

To recreate the picturesque Valentine card, you will need:
Night of Navy card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Basic White card – 3¼” by 3¼” x 2 Soft Succulent card – 3⅛” by 3⅛” Basic White card – 2¼” by 1” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Using the Stylish Shapes Dies, I die cut a square from one of the 3¼” by 3¼” pieces of Basic White card.

I inked up the larger tree image using Night of Navy ink and stamped it along the bottom of the stitched square. I added the smaller tree image in Soft Succulent ink.

A masked ‘moon’ was added to the sky area and the larger sky image stamped twice in Pool Party ink. The mask was then removed. The horizon line was then stamped in Soft Succulent ink.

We stamped the ‘sky’ in 2nd generation Balmy Blue ink onto the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card. The ‘sea image’ was stamped twice using Pool Party ink.
The ship from the On the Ocean stamp set was stamped in Starry Sky ink in the lower left corner, about ½” up from the bottom.
The diorama panels were glued together with liquid adhesive and then mounted onto the stamped panel on Dimensionals. The whole piece was then glued to the Pool Party card front. We tucked pieces of the spiky foliage, die cut from scarp Garden Green card using the On the Ocean Dies, between the layers of the diorama panels..
The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy ink onto the strip of Basic White card, trimmed down and added to the card front.
Card 2 – Sandpiper and Chick
Petal Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Crumb Cake – 5⅛” by 3⅜” Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” Scrap Basic White

We stamped the ‘sky’ in 2nd generation Balmy Blue ink onto the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card. The ‘sea image’ was stamped using Pool Party ink. The ‘sand’ was added in Crumb Cake ink, stamping three times to build up the layers.
We added grasses in Garden Green ink.
The large bird from the Seaside Bay stamp set, was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the 5½” by 3¾” piece if Basic White card. We added the trio of chicks to the panel of card using the same ink and die cut them using the Seaside Bay Dies.
The stamped panel was the glued to the Crumb Cake panel and then to the Petal Pink card front.
We used the darker brown tones from the Naturals Collection of Blends and Smoky Slate Blends to add texture to the head and wings of the large bird. Pool Party for the eye and Petal Pink for the shading on the belly/chest of the large bird and the chicks.
The large bird and one of the smaller birds were added to the stamped panel using Dimensionals.
Card 3 – Sandpiper Chicks on a Beach
Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Starry Sky card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” Basic White – 5½” by 3¾”

I fussy cut a number of open umbrellas from the same dsp using sharp scissors. I am not generally a fan of fussy cut but these were so easy to cut out and they look so good.

To recreate the scenic garden card, you will need:
Soft Suede card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Sweet Sorbet card – 5⅛” by 3⅝” Fluid 100 card – 5” by 3½” Very Vanilla card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside Scrap Soft Suede card
I mounted the image stamp onto one of the plates from my Stamparatus, inked it up with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped it down onto the panel of Fluid 100 paper. Because the water colour card so textured I find I need to stamp two or three times to get a good impression and the Stamparatus makes this so easy to do.

Using a Water Painter and inkpads I coloured in the image. I used Soft Suede ink for the bench, Granny Apple Green for the grass and foliage, Sweet Sorbet for the flowers, Smoky Slate for the ground and finally Balmy Blue for the sky and to pull the whole image together.

When it was dry, I glued the water-coloured panel to the Sweet Sorbet layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I wrapped a length of Linen Thread around the panel before mounting it onto the Soft Suede card base on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Amazing Year stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto scrap Soft Suede card, covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I cut the sentiment apart and added it to the card front.

I used my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to die cut a stitched circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I placed the die cut circle onto the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card, with a little hanging over and drew around it lightly with a pencil.

The large ‘For You’ stamp was inked up with Sweet Sorbet ink, one word at a time and stamped them one on top of the other on the left side of the stitched circle.

I stamped the flowers and leaves, overlapping the pencilled circle. The large flowers in Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry. The smaller flowers in Polished Pink and Sweet Sorbet and the leaves in Mint Macaron and Old Olive.

I rubbed out the pencil marks and added the tiny hearts in Sweet Sorbet ink. The decorated layer was then added to the Mint Macaron layer with liquid glue. I mounted the circle onto the panel with Dimensionals and trimmed off the overhanging right hand side.

I used the same glue to adhere the piece to the Polished Pink card front.
