Today I have CASEd a card designed by my lovely team leader Mikaela Titheridge. This was one of the cards Mikaela showcased in her OnStage presentation using the adorable Attention Shoppers bundle. I have changed the colour palette and modified the design to make it my own.
To recreate the Mikaela’s CASE’d card, you will need:
Smoky Slate card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Smoky Slate card – 5½” by 3¾” Basic White card – 4⅛” by 2½” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” Scrap Basic White card and 2024 – 2026 In Color dsp
I embossed the 5½” by 3¾” panel of Smoky Slate card using one of the online exclusive 3D Embossing Folders. I added the embossed piece to the Smoky Slate card front using Mini Glue Dots. I wanted a little height but a double layer of Dimensionals really increases the postage in the UK.
www.crafty-rootes.com – A card CASE’d from Mikaela Titheridges’ blog using the Attention Shoppers stamp set and co-ordinating Dies
A label was die cut from the 4⅛” by 2½” piece of Basic White card. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the label and set it aside.
www.crafty-rootes.com – A card CASE’d from Mikaela Titheridges’ blog using the Attention Shoppers stamp set and co-ordinating Dies
On scrap Basic White card, I stamped a number of the house plant images, leaves only, a couple of bouquets and a bottle in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I die cut them out using the Attention Shoppers Dies. Using the following Blends I coloured in the images – Peach Pie, Lemon Lolly, Old Olive & Smoky Slate.
www.crafty-rootes.com – A card CASE’d from Mikaela Titheridges’ blog using the Attention Shoppers stamp set and co-ordinating Dies
The bouquet was stamped again onto a scrap of 2024 – 2026 In Color dsp and fussy cut the wrapping using sharp Scissors and glued it onto the die cut bouquet. I also cut apart one of the bouquets stamped on the scrap Basic White card to give me extra flowers.
