I have been making a pretty birthday card for a young girl using the Party Puffins stamp set.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the puffin birthday card, you will need:
Pale Papaya card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Polished Pink card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside
Polished Pink card – 3⅞” by 2⅜”
Basic White card – 3¾” by 2¼”
Using the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder, I embossed one of the larger Basic White panels. The panel was then glued to the larger Polished Pink panel.
I wrapped a length of Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon around the panel securing it on the back with Sellotape. The panel was then adhered to the Pale Papaya card front.
The cute puffin was stamped onto the smaller piece of Basic White in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The sentiment was added below in Polished Pink ink.
I used the Pale Papaya and Polished Pink Blends Pens to colour in the image. The coloured panel was then glued to the smaller Polished Pink layer and added to the card front on Dimensionals.
A bow was added on a Mini Glue Dot and a trio of Fine Sparkle Gems completed the card.
I hope you like it.
